java - Cannot run applets in Google Chrome or other browsers (JRE 8) -

i updated jdk , jre java 8 (the latest version). , having serious problem running java applets under jre 8. in java 7, used decrease security level of java control panel medium. latest version not showing medium security level option. have 2 options - high , very high.

how run java applets now? please provide suggestion.
